THE VIOLET BUTTERFLY CORONAVIRUS & COVID-19 POLICY
All of us have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We understand your concerns in this current situation, so we have been thorough and extremely diligent in preparing for reopening our business to you, and, a full clean, disinfection and sanitation has taken place at the salon. The safety of you our customers, and, our team is paramount to us.
We have missed being able to offer you the treatments that we know you love, and we are looking forward to seeing you again as soon as possible.
Our priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening the salon we have implemented a number of changes which we would like to make you aware of.
OUR SALON’S SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
✔ We have complied with all the governments regulations and will continue to monitor them.
✔ A full Coronavirus and COVID-19 salon health and hygiene safety risk assessment has been carried out.
✔ We deep cleaned the salon prior to reopening.
✔ We have always had meticulous high standards of hygiene and these will continue. Wherever possible we will use environmentally friendly, single use items during a treatment in order to protect you from any risk from cross infection. We can assure you all items of non-disposable equipment will be disinfected before and after every client.
✔ Our day has been carefully rescheduled to space out appointments for thorough cleaning and sanitising between clients and to allow for minimal contact with others.
✔ Until further notice we will be operating a locked door policy at all times so we can strictly monitor movement in and out of the salon.
✔ We have a designated sanitising area for hand hygiene and complimentary risk mitigation PPE that everyone will be required to use.
✔ We regularly sanitise reception and all contact points.
✔ We will provide sterile containers for your clothes during treatments.
✔ We all safely worked at home during lockdown and strictly adhering to the rules! We are all extremely healthy and will be taking our temperature daily.
✔ We have completed numerous beauty and massage industry professional, certified COVID-19 safety courses, so you can be assured that we have the highest levels of hygiene and customer safety in place.
✔ We have carried out training to ensure we can all care for all our clients in a relaxed and comforting but safe, hygienic, and professional manner and how to adapt treatments to do this.
✔ Our team will wear gloves, visors, masks, and other risk mitigation PPE during treatments where required, this will be changed between each client, and, hands will be sanitised before and after every client interaction.
OUR TREATMENTS AND APPOINTMENT BOOKING
✔ We have reviewed our treatment menu and removed treatments where we felt it necessary to do so. Until further notice we will NOT be offering the following treatments:
✘ All Massage over 45 minutes (we will be only massaging the back of the body)
✔ Our online booking service is available .
✔ Until further notice the salon will be open 10am – 5.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9am – 4pm Saturday
✔ All clients will be pre-screened before their treatments to assess suitability for an appointment.
✔ We will dedicate the first hour of the day to appointments for vulnerable people clients, please ask when booking an appointment.
We ask that on the day of your appointment you please:
✔ Arrive on time, no earlier or later, please wait outside and we will meet you at the door.
✘ Attend your appointments alone, please do not bring family or friends with you so we can safely control movement within the salon. Please let us know if you need to bring a carer with you.
✘ Only bring what is absolutely necessary to the salon (a phone, your loyalty and payment cards, any house or car keys) sorry no bags. These will be placed in a secure bag you can keep with you during your time at the salon.
✔ Wash your hands and/or use hand sanitiser as directed by our team and before and after each treatment.
✔ Wear the complimentary facemasks and any other risk mitigation PPE as appropriate that we will provide.
✔ Make arrangements to pay for your treatment by a contactless method or ask us about payment by PayPal or bank transfer.
✔ To contact us and re-arrange your appointment, if you have a temperature, or displaying any symptoms, or if any person in your household has the same or is self-isolating.
✘ Do not come to the salon if you or anyone you live with is self-isolating or is displaying symptoms known to be consistent with Covid-19.
✔ If after your appointment either you or someone you have been in contact with tests positive for Covid-19 that you will inform us and will assist you with any requests for data required.
✔ Due to the safeguarding measures we have put in place, we will be working on reduced capacity and with so many people are waiting to get in for overdue appointments right now, so it’s more important than ever that you come in when you’re scheduled and on time, otherwise, a no-show fee of the full cost of your treatment will apply. To cancel or reschedule, please give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Of course, if you wake up feeling unwell, do not worry, just call us as soon as possible before your appointment and we will take care of it. Keeping yourself (and us all) healthy is the most important thing.
✔ We have also introduced a new policy so that we can be completely COVID free at the salon, it’s called the 3 P’s, no Pandemic, no Politics and only Positivity is allowed in the salon!
